S1 Helmets Australia

Choose an S1 helmet by fit, riding style, and the certification shown on the product page.

Start with the rider’s head measurement. The S1 Lifer system uses three shell sizes—Mini Lifer, Lifer, and Mega Lifer—then colour-coded sizing liners to fine-tune the fit. Once the shell is right, choose the shape and model that suits how and where you ride.

Shop by use

Start with the kind of riding you do.

How to choose

A helmet should fit level, snug, and stable.

1

Measure the head

Measure around the widest part of the head: across the middle of the forehead, above the ears, and around the back. A soft tape is best; a string and ruler also works.

2

Choose the shell range

Mini Lifer is for 18.5–20.5 inches, standard Lifer for 20.5–23.5 inches, and Mega Lifer for 23.5–25.5 inches. The 20.5 and 23.5-inch boundaries overlap so fit can be assessed carefully.

3

Fine-tune with liners

Colour-coded sizing liners adjust the fit within the shell. A correctly fitted helmet sits level, covers the forehead, and should not rock side-to-side or front-to-back.

Between two shell sizes?
Do not guess. Check the detailed size guide first, and contact S1 support with the head measurement and the product you are considering if you need help choosing the best starting shell.

Before you checkout

Use the size guide to choose the right shell and liner setup.

It is the fastest way to avoid an avoidable exchange. If the fit is still unclear after measuring, contact the team before ordering.
